WANTS
I'm currently undergoing a long-term research project, and for this to come to fruition I need...a bit. Basically what I'm looking for is The original Broadway casts of any and all Broadway productions. Be they old or be they new, I want them- and I should clarify, NOT cast albums (I don't trade official albums), the actual audio bootlegs from the original Broadway productions. So if there's any show you don't see an OBC for here, I'm interested.
I'm hugely interested in demo recordings/backer's auditions/workshop audios/composer demos, etc. of any show, so if you have any available I'm definitely interested (particular composers of note include Stephen Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman).
I've also recently become interested in High-quality instrumental tracks for any musical scores. So not those dinky officially licensed 'karaoke albums' with the tinny MIDI patches- I'm talking high-quality (ideally live) tracks for shows. I have a small collection at the moment, and as someone with a passion for scores and orchestrations, I'm always looking to expand that collection.
